Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, using the workspace, uploading media, generating content, purchasing a plan, joining a team, or using any beta or API feature, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use Linocut AI. Additional terms may apply to enterprise plans, data processing, beta programmes, APIs, or third-party integrations. If additional written terms conflict with these terms, the written terms control for that specific service.

03

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Linocut AI, unless your use is approved by a parent, guardian, school, or authorised organisation and the relevant plan allows it.

You are responsible for account credentials, workspace invitations, member roles, billing permissions, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.

  • Use accurate account and billing information.
  • Do not share credentials or bypass authentication controls.
  • Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for managing member access.
  • If your account is issued by an organisation, that organisation may control or access the workspace according to the applicable agreement and permissions.
04

The service

Linocut AI is an all-in-one AI creative workspace for no-skill and workflow-based production across image, video, audio, and text. Features may include upscaling, enhancement, background removal, watermark cleanup, inpainting, AI filters, video enhancement, audio denoise, transcription, text generation, prompt assistance, reusable techniques, and team workflows.

We may add, remove, suspend, limit, rename, or change features as the product develops, as model providers change, as capacity changes, or as required for safety, legal, or operational reasons.

05

AI outputs and review

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, unexpected, or similar to content generated for other users. Outputs may require human review before use in advertising, ecommerce, publishing, legal, financial, medical, employment, or other sensitive contexts.

You are responsible for evaluating outputs, checking rights, correcting errors, complying with platform rules, and deciding whether an output is suitable for your intended use.

  • Do not represent AI-generated content as human-created where that would be deceptive or unlawful.
  • Do not use outputs to make legal, medical, financial, employment, immigration, credit, housing, insurance, or other high-impact decisions about people.
  • Do not rely on Linocut AI as a substitute for professional advice.
06

Your content and licence to us

You retain ownership of the content you upload and, as between you and Linocut AI, the outputs you generate, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, these terms, and any plan-specific restrictions.

You grant Linocut AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, modify, display, transmit, and create technical derivatives of your content solely as needed to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, follow your instructions, and comply with law.

This licence ends when the content is deleted from the service, except where continued retention is reasonably necessary for backups, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

07

Rights and permissions

You must have the rights, licences, consents, and permissions needed for any content you upload, edit, generate, publish, or share. This includes rights related to copyright, trade marks, design rights, publicity, privacy, likeness, voice, and personal data.

If your workflow involves another person's face, body, voice, name, brand, logo, product, artwork, or private information, you are responsible for making sure the use is lawful and permitted.

08

Watermark and rights-sensitive workflows

Linocut AI may include tools that remove or reduce watermarks, marks, backgrounds, objects, metadata, or visual noise. These tools are intended for lawful uses such as restoring your own content, removing marks from assets you own, cleaning licensed media where permitted, or preparing authorised product and marketing materials.

Do not use Linocut AI to remove watermarks, copyright notices, rights-management information, creator marks, platform marks, or ownership signals in a way that infringes rights, breaches a licence, misleads viewers, or violates law or platform rules.

09

Acceptable use

Use Linocut AI for lawful creative, educational, entertainment, professional, and business workflows. Do not misuse the service or attempt to harm people, systems, markets, communities, or rights holders.

  • Do not upload, generate, or share illegal, infringing, exploitative, hateful, harassing, violent-extremist, self-harm, non-consensual sexual, sexualised-minor, or abusive content.
  • Do not impersonate people or organisations, create deceptive deepfakes, run scams, mislead voters or consumers, or misrepresent the origin of content.
  • Do not collect, infer, expose, or misuse sensitive personal data, credentials, financial information, medical data, or private identifiers.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, overload, benchmark for competitive abuse, resell access, bypass rate limits, bypass safety systems, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not use Linocut AI to develop weapons, malware, phishing, spam, surveillance abuse, or other unlawful or harmful systems.
  • Do not use the service in a way that violates export controls, sanctions, platform rules, or third-party terms.
10

Community, sharing, and moderation

If Linocut AI allows users to publish workflows, prompts, examples, comments, templates, or other content, you remain responsible for what you share. Shared content may be visible to other users, search engines, or the public depending on the product setting.

We may review, label, restrict, remove, or refuse content, accounts, or workflows that appear to violate these terms, create legal risk, undermine safety, or damage the service. We may also provide reporting or appeal channels where required by law or product design.

11

Plans, credits, and payments

Paid plans, credits, usage limits, renewal dates, taxes, invoices, and billing cycles are shown at checkout or in the workspace. Prices may vary by plan, region, currency, volume, feature access, and promotional offer.

AI media generation and enhancement require compute resources. Certain workflows may consume credits, be rate-limited, have queue times, or require a paid plan. Unused credits may expire according to the plan terms shown at purchase.

Topic
Rule
Subscriptions
Renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, where automatic renewal is enabled.
Credits
Used for eligible AI workflows and may be limited by plan, feature, model, or expiry period.
Taxes
You are responsible for applicable VAT, sales tax, withholding, and similar charges unless included at checkout.
Failed payments
We may retry payment, downgrade, suspend, or restrict paid features if payment fails.
Plan changes
Upgrades or downgrades may affect limits, credits, access, renewal dates, and pricing.
12

Cancellation, refunds, and consumer rights

You can cancel a subscription according to the controls provided in the workspace or billing portal. Cancellation usually stops future renewals but does not automatically refund fees already paid unless required by law or stated in the applicable plan terms.

If you are a UK or EEA consumer, you may have a 14-day cancellation right for distance contracts. For digital content or services supplied immediately, you may be asked to consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that cancellation rights may be lost or reduced once supply begins, to the extent permitted by law.

Enterprise, custom, promotional, prepaid, usage-based, and credit purchases may have different refund terms stated in the relevant order form or checkout flow.

13

Business and team workspaces

Business customers are responsible for their workspace users, permissions, uploaded content, data protection obligations, internal approvals, and use of outputs. Workspace administrators may be able to access, export, delete, or manage content and activity inside their workspace.

If a separate order form, enterprise agreement, data processing addendum, or service level agreement applies, those documents supplement these terms for that workspace.

14

Linocut AI intellectual property

The service, software, interface, workflow system, design, branding, documentation, models we provide or configure, templates, and all related intellectual property are owned by Linocut AI or its licensors.

These terms do not give you ownership of the service itself. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create competing services from Linocut AI materials except as allowed by law or written permission.

15

Third-party services and models

Linocut AI may rely on third-party model providers, hosting, storage, payment processors, analytics, moderation, transcription, media processing, and integrations. Their availability, performance, restrictions, and terms may affect the service.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we choose and manage providers to support reliability, security, and the product's creative workflow purpose.

16

Privacy and data protection

The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, retained, shared, and transferred. If you use Linocut AI for a business workspace that processes personal data, additional data processing terms may apply.

You are responsible for ensuring that your uploads, prompts, generated content, workspace configuration, and sharing choices comply with privacy, data protection, and confidentiality obligations that apply to you.

17

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you breach these terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay, misuse credits, infringe rights, cause harm, or if continued access could damage Linocut AI, users, providers, or third parties.

You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion may be subject to billing, legal, security, backup, and workspace administration requirements.

18

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that Linocut AI will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every file, accepted by every platform, or that outputs will be accurate, unique, rights-cleared, or suitable for your intended use.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

19

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linocut AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, content, business opportunity, or service availability.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Linocut AI for the service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the event, or GBP 100, unless a different mandatory limit applies by law or a signed agreement states otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

20

Indemnity

If you use Linocut AI for a business or organisation, you will defend and indemnify Linocut AI and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of outputs, your breach of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

This indemnity does not apply to individual consumers where prohibited by applicable law.

21

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer law gives you additional rights. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in the courts of the country where they live where mandatory law allows it.

Before starting formal proceedings, both parties should try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting legal@Linocut AI with a clear description of the issue and the requested resolution.

22

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product, business, legal environment, model providers, or safety requirements change. Material updates will be posted on this page with an updated date and, where appropriate, communicated in-product or by email.

Your continued use of Linocut AI after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service and cancel any paid plan according to the cancellation process.
